To help you in the evolution of your store, we are pleased to announce a visual redesign of the blog part
What’s new
First of all, the homepage has been redesigned. Each article will have a cover image, a title and a description perfectly harmonized.
However, if you choose not to include a cover image, the article will still be published and will simply show the title and the beginning of the content.
Regarding the layout, everything is now organized in three columns to allow for an easier overview of the available articles.
A pagination at the bottom of the page has been modified to make it clearer and more available.
The article pages have also been redesigned!
The width of the page has been reduced to make the reading fluid, simple and pleasant.
The structure of an article is composed of the following elements:
Title of the article
Details (time of publication, author…)
Cover image
Content of the article (text, images…)
Buttons for sharing on social networks
Comments space
With this new layout, the articles will be more highlighted and will be able to serve your store better!
How to benefit from this new design?
Available today, the new blog design is automatically applied to all recent themes (“TWIG” for the technical term): Copenhagen, Paris, Glasgow, Ottawa, Milano, Berlino and Havana.
No action is required on your part. And you can already discover this update on your blog!
Please note that this update applies directly to the native theme on your store. If a specific development was made on your TWIG design, we recommend you to contact your Business Coach who will indicate you the procedure to follow.
Finally, be careful, if you are on an old template whose maintenance will soon be stopped, you will not benefit from this new feature. We therefore advise you to select a new and more recent design. To do this, go to Preferences (cogwheel) > Appearance > Choose another design.
Finally, manage your blog and articles directly from your administration space in the Content section.
Note that a complete redesign of the blog with the integration of WiziBlocks is planned. We will keep you informed when this great new feature will be online.
